Morphology
The plant is about 10-50 cm high, stolonifera and root file. The leaves consist of three segments petiolate, toothed margin.
The actinomorphic flowers are about 3 cm have an epical, calyx of 5 sepals, 5 yellow petals, numerous stamens and ovary semi-inferior.
The fruit that resembles a strawberry, subsferico is red, fleshy receptacle for the accretion and tasteless. It is not edible.
Habitat
It is found in mixed forests throughout Italy.
